Dave Cools (illumin8) is passionate about light and music and has several years of experience in light programmation and operation for events with electronic dance music. Together with a background in ICT he's strong in both the creative and the technical part.

While picture perfect light scenes are nice for marketing, live operation in sync with the music is triggering the subconscious experience.

To accomplish this, feeling for beat, tempo and rhythm together with instant creativity are key.

A good light operator / light show is equally important as a deejay.
