Dave Cools (illumin8) is passionate about light and music and has several years of experience in light programmation and operation for events with electronic dance music. Together with a background in ICT he's strong in both the creative and the technical part.

Besides perfect light scenes he also realizes the importance of the live operation and sync with the music.

To accomplish this, feeling for beat, tempo and rhythm together with instant creativity are key.

A good light operator is equally important as a good deejay.
